Siemens ACUSON Sequoia™: Echocardiology systems provide the most advanced ultrasound imaging for a full range of preclinical applications to examine the internal structure of the heart. The ACUSON Sequoia™ uses reflections from high-frequency sound waves to form a picture. CBSET features intracardiac echocardiogram (ICE) capability, transthoracic echocardiogram (TTE), transesophageal echocardiogram, and three dimensional heart reconstruction.
Boston Scientific Galaxy Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS): IVUS technology allows for visualization from within the blood vessels. IVUS is particularly useful for vessel sizing, evaluating stent recoil, lumen diameter measurements, and visualizing polymeric stents.
